Volkan Işık, born in Istanbul on September 11, 1967, is a famous and champion rally driver. He started his rally career with Opel in 1989. His first race is the Ali Sipahi Rally. He placed 10th in this rally. At the end of the season, he took the 7th place with twelve points.
He took part in Tofaş Motorsport team in 1991 and started using Murat131. He took a break from his career with the death of Renç Koçibey in 1993. It was observed that he got used to Fiat vehicles before taking a break from his career.
He returned to his career professionally in 1997. Despite having strong rivals in the season, he finished the season as 3rd. In 1998, he moved to Team Atakan and started using the Toyoto Corolla WRC vehicle. He won his first championship of the season. He remained in the same team until 2001. He founded Fiat Abarth Motorsport Turkey team in 2001. He was 3rd with his team in the 2001 season. He won the championship in 2002 and 2003 seasons. He preferred Europe in 2007 and became the second in the season with the Grande Punto S2000 and became the third in the season. In the same period, he took the sixth place in the Rally of China. He made his mark in history as the first Turkish champion in this rally. This academy, which has trained many students, has stepped into success and made automobile driving professional.
